Future Directions has been part of Parma since 1984. Over four decades, generations of guests have walked through our doors on Ridge Road for color, cuts, skin, nails, lashes, and massage, and many of them still do.

In 2023, Shannon took ownership with a simple goal: keep what made Future Directions a Parma staple, and raise the bar on everything else. That means ongoing education, professional-grade products like Redken and FarmHouse Fresh, and a team that holds itself to a high standard because our guests deserve it.

Our team is multigenerational. Some of our stylists have more than 30 years behind the chair, and some are just starting their careers, and they learn from each other every day. The result is a salon that's experienced without being stuck and current without chasing trends.
